“Writer’s Digest”: Writers with Day Jobs

And another link to a great Writer’s Digest piece. This is a compilation of interviews with writers who worked on their writing while also working 40ish hours a week (like me!).

Check it: “Writer with a Day Job”

Poetry vol.1

And now for something completely different:

This is my first attempt at writing poetry. Please laugh and do yourself a favour and go buy some long underwear. A pair of “longjohns” and a scarf are what makes the difference between you feeling “freezing” and “just damn cold”.

“In the dark winter months there’s something I wear,

That makes me feel warm more than a cold beer,

It’s under my pants and wraps ’round my legs,

It’s my long underwear to which I say, “thanks!” “
