I found this one on Netflix.
Wristcutters: A Love Story is a romantic comedy about suicide. If you didn’t think that could be done, it was, and it was done well. The comedy in Wristcutters is not in your face, nor is it “blam, right there on the screen”. It comes a little while into the movie and is subtle because it builds on everything presented to us in Act 1. When it did come I found myself laughing aloud.
I need to devote an entire post to netflix because I’ve found some hidden gems that are great films, they just don’t have the big studio ad dollars behind them.
