“Dinner for Schmucks”

Watched Dinner for Schmucks last night. Not what I was totally expecting but you can’t judge something by what you expect from it only by what it is.

At some parts it was funny. At some parts it wasn’t. At some parts you wanted to jump through the TV and strangle Steve Carell’s character, which Paul Rudd’s character clearly wanted to do so Rudd played it well, as did Carell.

Everything was right with this movie but it just wasn’t that funny. Rudd’s VM’s were in total opposition which was huge. After Carell basically ruined his life I kept wondering how the fu*k it was going to be worked out. It was just missing something that I can’t quite figure out.

Overall: 4.5/10
